Demerara sugar is a type of unrefined brown sugar. It’s cane sugar that, through boiling, retains its rich vitamin and mineral content. Due to the high content of molasses, Demerara brown sugar has a distinct caramel aroma and flavor. Demerara is primarily grown in Colombia. Agro-Alliance is a direct importer of this sugar from Colombia to Russia.
